Wildlife Abounds
Wildlife abounds within the Park. Whitetail Deer are the most noticeable large wild animals. You can see numerous fawns in the spring and an occasional buck in the fall.
Other wildlife that you are likely to encounter include:
Beaver, Muskrat, Great Blue Heron, Gray Squirrel, Raccoon, Owl, Fox, Wild Turkey, Bald Eagle and numerous Song Birds, only to mention a few.
The best time to observe deer is in the early morning or late evening hours.
