A hidden gem at Maramec Springs – the Historic Drive. The drive takes you through the backside of the park where you can enjoy a beautiful scenic view of the Meramec River Valley and old tall trees. Along the leisurely drive along one of the oldest roads in the area, you will see the Ironworks Cemetery, the Open Pit Iron Mine and Stringtown, a town for those who worked at the mine and iron works.
